Sweet Heat Watermelon Crunch Bites are a refreshing appetizer that combines the sweetness of watermelon with a spicy kick.

- 3 cups watermelon (cubed, seeds removed)
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 tsp Tajín seasoning (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh mint (chopped)
Instructions
- Place watermelon cubes into a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk lime juice, honey, sugar, and salt until combined.
- Pour the mixture over the watermelon and gently toss.
- Sprinkle chili powder, cayenne, and Tajín over the top.
- Toss lightly again to coat evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh mint before serving.
- Serve cold for a crisp, juicy, sweet-heat bite.
Notes
- Adjust the level of spice by adding more or less cayenne pepper.
- For extra flavor, let it marinate longer in the refrigerator.
