Description
A delicious sweet treat combining Granny Smith apples, Snickers bars, and a creamy pudding mixture.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 to 5 medium to large Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
- 20 miniature Snickers bars or 6 standard Snickers bars, chopped
- 96 grams (1 package, 3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding
- 180 millilitres whole milk
- 227 grams (1 container, 8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 60 millilitres caramel sauce, for drizzling
Instructions
- Chop Granny Smith apples and Snickers bars into small, bite-sized pieces. Reserve approximately 120 millilitres (1/2 cup) of each for garnish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding and whole milk until the mixture is thick and smooth.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully integrated and the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the chopped apples and Snickers to the bowl and stir until evenly combined, reserving the garnish portion.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes for optimal texture.
- Before serving, sprinkle the reserved apples and Snickers over the salad and drizzle caramel sauce on top.
Notes
- For best results, use Granny Smith apples for a tart flavor that complements the sweetness of the Snickers and caramel.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of caramel sauce to your taste preference.
- This salad can be made a few hours in advance, but is best served the same day.
