Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter for cooking
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • Maple syrup for serving
  • Additional toasted pecans for topping

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans until smooth.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture between two slices of brioche to form a sandwich.
  4. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Dip the stuffed bread in the egg mixture and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Serve with maple syrup and additional toasted pecans on top.
