Description

Deliciously crispy fried jalapeños stuffed with creamy brie cheese, finished with a sweet honey drizzle.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 fresh jalapeños
  • 8 ounces brie cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the tops off the jalapeños and remove the seeds.
  2. Stuff each jalapeño with brie cheese.
  3. In one bowl, add flour, in another bowl beat the egg, and in a third bowl add breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each stuffed jalapeño first in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the jalapeños until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
  8. Drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
  • Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to get a crispy texture.
