- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
- Prepare the Cereal: Place the cereal into a very large mixing bowl. Set aside while you prepare the coating mixture.
- Melt the Butterscotch Mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butterscotch chips, caramel sauce, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract once melted.
- Coat the Cereal: Pour the warm butterscotch caramel mixture over the cereal. Gently fold the cereal until all pieces are coated.
- Add the Powdered Sugar: Place powdered sugar into a large zip-top bag or container. Transfer the coated cereal, seal it, and gently shake until coated.
- Cool the Puppy Chow: Spread the coated puppy chow onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow it to cool for 10–15 minutes.
- Serve: Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
