Description

Beer Cheese Muffins are a delightful savory treat, perfect for any occasion, blending the rich flavors of beer and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups Simple Truth Unbleached All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 12 oz. beer
  • 3/4 cup Roundy’s Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 3/4 cup Roundy’s Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 6 Tbsp. Simple Truth butter
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh minced chives

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Slowly pour in beer, then add shredded cheese, 4 tbsp. butter, and minced chives.
  3. Stir until ingredients are combined.
  4. Spoon into 12 regular size or 6 jumbo size greased muffin cups.
  5. Melt remaining 2 Tbsp. butter and pour evenly over muffin cups.
  6. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
