Description
A delightful combination of creamy white chocolate and rich caramel, this fudge is perfect for indulgent moments.
Ingredients
Scale
- 680 g white baking chips
- 396 g sweetened condensed milk
- 2.5 tablespoons heavy cream (for fudge base)
- 25 individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
- 1.5 tablespoons heavy cream (for caramel swirl)
Instructions
- Line a 20 x 20 cm baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang to assist with removal.
- Combine white baking chips, sweetened condensed milk, and 2.5 tablespoons heavy cream in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second bursts, stirring thoroughly after each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Place the unwrapped caramels and 1.5 tablespoons heavy cream in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is melted and uniform.
- Gently fold three-quarters of the melted caramel into the white chocolate mixture with minimal strokes to maintain visible caramel ribbons.
- Evenly transfer the fudge mixture into the prepared dish. Dollop the remaining caramel over the surface and use a knife to create a decorative swirl pattern.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully firm.
- Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into 25 even pieces with a sharp knife. Store refrigerated until serving.
Notes
- Ensure the caramels are unwrapped before starting.
- For best results, allow the fudge to set overnight in the refrigerator.
- This fudge can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
