- 1 ½ cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1 tbsp lime juice (or lemon juice)
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness)
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Fruit: Cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes and pit/halve the cherries. Add both to a large mixing bowl.
- Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, maple syrup (if using), and a pinch of salt.
- Toss and Mix: Pour the dressing over the fruit and gently toss until evenly coated.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh mint just before serving. Enjoy immediately or chill for 15–20 minutes.
