Ingredients

- 1/2 teaspoon food coloring or extra extract
- 1 1/2 cups holiday sprinkles
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients and sugars in a stand mixer.
- Add butter gradually and mix until dough forms.
- Mix in vanilla extract.
- Divide dough into two equal portions.
- Color one portion and mix until even.
- Roll both doughs between wax paper to 1/4-inch thickness.
- Chill dough sheets for at least 1 hour.
- Stack doughs, seal edges, and trim evenly.
- Roll dough tightly into a log.
- Coat log with sprinkles and chill again.
- Slice into 1/4-inch cookies.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 to 17 minutes.
- Cool briefly before transferring to a rack.
