Description

Deliciously sweet Valentine’s Chocolate Dipped Oreos, perfect for gifting or enjoying on a special occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 Oreos
  • 10-ounce white chocolate candy melts
  • Food coloring
  • 1 cup sprinkles of choice

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate chips in a large heatproof glass bowl using the double boiler method.
  2. Add the candy melts and stir constantly until about 70% of the melts are melted. Remove from heat and stir until smooth.
  3. Divide the mixture into two bowls if using different colors and add food coloring according to desired shade.
  4. Add a drizzle of coconut or olive oil for a smooth consistency.
  5. Using two forks, dip each Oreo into the chocolate and transfer to a cooling rack or parchment paper.
  6. Add sprinkles on top before refrigerating for 30 minutes or until set.
  7. For additional decoration, drizzle more chocolate using a fork or pastry piping bag and refrigerate again until set.

  • Ensure the glass bowl does not touch the simmering water.
  • For different colors, consider using colored candy melts instead of food coloring.
