Description

Delicious Valentine S’mores Brownie Bites that combine the fudgy texture of brownies with marshmallow and graham cracker topping for a perfect sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Box brownie mix, plus the ingredients it calls for
  • 1 Cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 ¼ Cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, mini
  • ½ Cup marshmallow fluff, or 20 mini marshmallows
  • 1 Teaspoon oil, optional
  • Sprinkles, optional

Instructions

  1. Make the brownies as directed on the back of the box mix, using an 8-inch square pan.
  2. Once the brownies have baked and cooled, scoop out some brownie from the inside, avoiding the crunchy outer edges.
  3. Squish the brownie with your hands to make it soft and combined.
  4. Flatten the brownie in your palm to form a shallow bowl.
  5. Place a small scoop of marshmallow fluff or one mini marshmallow into the center of the brownie bowl.
  6. Wrap the edges of the brownie over the marshmallow and gently roll it into a ball.
  7. Repeat this process with the remaining brownie mixture and place the balls on a plate and freeze for 30 minutes.
  8. In a shallow dish, combine graham cracker crumbs and sprinkles, then set aside.
  9. After 30 minutes, melt the mini chocolate chips in a microwave-safe dish, stirring at 20-second intervals.
  10. If the chocolate is thick, add a teaspoon of oil to help with dipping.
  11. Remove brownie balls from the freezer, dip each into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then roll in the graham cracker mixture.
  12. Place the completed truffles on a plate lined with parchment paper.
  13. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until the chocolate shell has hardened.

Notes

  • Using an 8-inch pan enhances the soft interior of the brownies.
  • Ensure the chocolate is fully melted for smooth dipping and coating.
  • If using oil, start with a small amount to achieve the desired consistency.
