Description

Taco Ranch Bites are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer featuring a savory mixture of ground beef, taco seasoning, and creamy ranch dressing, all baked in crispy phyllo tart shells.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bottle (8 oz) ranch dressing
  • 5 packages (15 count each) frozen phyllo tart shells

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook ground beef in skillet until no longer pink. Drain fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning, tomatoes, and chiles to beef. Cook 5 minutes more.
  4. In a bowl, combine cheese and ranch dressing. Add cooked taco meat and mix.
  5. Spoon the mixture into frozen phyllo shells.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or 10-13 minutes if frozen.

Notes

  • Ensure to drain the fat from the beef thoroughly for a healthier option.
  • Feel free to add additional toppings such as diced onions or cilantro before baking.
