Description

Deliciously soft biscuit twists made with ricotta cheese and almond flour, perfect for a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Almond slices for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, sugar, and softened butter. Stir and mix until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg. Add the vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the ricotta mixture. Stir gently until just combined.
  6. On a floured surface, roll out the dough. Keep the thickness moderate.
  7. Cut the dough into twists or shapes. Twist strips gently to form twists.
  8. Place shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle almond slices on top.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before enjoying.
