A delicious Snickerdoodle Cobbler that’s easy to make and irresistibly sweet with a hint of cinnamon.
Ingredients

- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups hot water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour melted butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together 1 cup of sugar, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until well combined. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
- Evenly distribute the brown sugar over the top.
- Carefully pour the hot water over the entire mixture. Do not stir.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cobbler is set.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- Make sure to pour the hot water carefully to avoid mixing the layers.
- Can be served warm or at room temperature.
