Description

S’mores Bars Cookie Graham combine cookie dough, chocolate, and marshmallow cream for a delightful treat that captures the essence of classic s’mores.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 340 grams unsalted butter, softened
  • 150 grams granulated sugar
  • 330 grams brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 15 milliliters pure vanilla extract
  • 420 grams all-purpose flour
  • 250 grams Graham cracker crumbs
  • 10 milliliters baking soda
  • 5 milliliters baking powder
  • 5 milliliters fine sea salt
  • 4 king size milk chocolate bars (approximately 200 grams total), unwrapped
  • 370 grams marshmallow cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a 23 x 33 cm baking pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla extract until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, Graham cracker crumbs, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until cohesive. Avoid overworking the dough.
  6. Evenly press two-thirds of the cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form a uniform base.
  7. Place chocolate bars in an even layer over the cookie dough base, ensuring full surface coverage.
  8. Carefully distribute marshmallow cream across the chocolate layer for uniform coverage.
  9. Break remaining cookie dough into small pieces and scatter over the marshmallow cream, leaving some gaps exposed.
  10. Transfer pan to oven and bake for 30-40 minutes. The surface should be golden brown, and the center set but still slightly soft.
  11. Allow bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into individual portions.

Notes

  • You can substitute dark chocolate for milk chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • Add chopped nuts for a crunchy texture if desired.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
