- 3/4 lb boneless flounder fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound scallops
- ½ cup dry white wine
- 2 cups thinly sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup crushed canned tomatoes
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon dried basil
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package directions
- 1 cup grated swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the béchamel sauce by melting the butter in a medium saucepan and whisking in the flour until a smooth paste forms. Gradually add the milk while whisking until thickened.
- Sauté the seafood by cooking the onions and garlic in butter until fragrant, then adding the seafood and seasoning with salt and pepper. Once the shrimp turn pink, add the wine and remove the seafood with a slotted spoon.
- Cook the mushrooms in the same pan, then stir in the béchamel sauce, crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, herbs, and red pepper flakes. Let the mixture simmer gently.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce in a buttered 9×13 dish. Layer seafood, noodles, sauce, and cheese, repeating until ingredients are used.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 40-50 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cover loosely with foil if browning too quickly.
