Description
A mouthwatering dish featuring warm Brie cheese infused with garlic and herbs, perfect for serving with crackers or baguette slices.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 wheel Brie cheese (8 oz)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- 1 tablespoon honey, optional
- Crackers or baguette slices, for serving
Instructions
- Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to fully preheat.
- Place the Brie wheel onto a baking dish or a parchment-lined baking sheet. Trim the rind lightly from the edges for easier scooping if desired.
- In a small bowl, stir together olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, and a pinch of salt and black pepper until evenly combined.
- Pour the garlic and herb mixture over the Brie. Spread evenly over the surface using a spoon.
- Transfer the assembled Brie to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is warmed through and the center is soft but holds its shape.
- Remove from the oven. If a light sweetness is preferred, drizzle honey over the top. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
- Present the baked Brie warm with crackers or baguette slices alongside.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the herbs to your liking.
- Make sure not to over-bake the Brie; it should be soft but not melted completely.
- Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
