A delicious twist on the classic Rice Krispie Treats, featuring a rich salted caramel flavor.

- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt (plus extra for topping)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Lower the heat and stir in the mini marshmallows. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and add the salted caramel sauce and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined.
- Place the Rice Krispies cereal in a large bowl and pour the marshmallow-caramel mixture over it. Stir until all cereal is coated.
- Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Press the mixture evenly into the pan using a greased spatula or your hands.
- Drizzle extra salted caramel on top and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a more intense caramel flavor, you can add more salted caramel sauce.
- Feel free to mix in your favorite candies or nuts for added texture.
