Description

Ranch Roasted Chickpeas are a crunchy, flavorful snack that’s easy to make and sure to satisfy your cravings.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons ranch seasoning mix (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. After rinsing the chickpeas, spread them out on a clean kitchen towel or paper towel and pat them dry. The drier they are, the crunchier they will become.
  3. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the dried chickpeas, olive oil, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the chickpeas are well coated.
  4. Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Once roasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch before serving.
