Description

A quick, cheesy skillet dish combining tortellini, ground beef, and pizza toppings for a delicious one-pot meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 19 oz frozen cheese tortellini
  • 24 oz jar marinara sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese (½ block)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ⅓ cup mini pepperoni (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Add about ⅓ cup of mini pepperoni to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the pepperoni is crispy.
  3. Drain excess grease from the pan, then add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add marinara sauce and cream cheese. Stir well until the cream cheese is fully mixed in.
  5. Add frozen tortellini and stir to coat. Cover and cook on medium-low for about 5 minutes, until heated through.
  6. Top with mozzarella, cheddar, and extra pepperoni. Broil for 2-3 minutes or cover until cheese melts. Serve hot.
