Description

A delicious recipe for crispy Parmesan Brussels sprouts that are roasted to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Trim the ends of Brussels sprouts and remove any yellowed outer leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise through the stem.
  3. In a large bowl, toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange Brussels sprouts cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  5. Roast for 15-20 minutes until the cut sides are golden brown and the edges are crispy.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese, and return to oven for 3-5 minutes until cheese melts and becomes golden.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
  • Ensure Brussels sprouts are dry before tossing with oil for maximum crispiness.
