Description
A delicious recipe for crispy Parmesan Brussels sprouts that are roasted to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs Brussels sprouts, halved
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Trim the ends of Brussels sprouts and remove any yellowed outer leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise through the stem.
- In a large bowl, toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange Brussels sprouts cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes until the cut sides are golden brown and the edges are crispy.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese, and return to oven for 3-5 minutes until cheese melts and becomes golden.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
- Ensure Brussels sprouts are dry before tossing with oil for maximum crispiness.
