Description
A delicious and easy one-pot meal featuring tender chicken, rotini pasta, and a sweet and tangy honey garlic BBQ sauce.

- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cups chicken broth (or water)
- 2 1/2 cups dry rotini pasta
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes or smoked paprika for extra kick
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat.
- Add diced chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes until lightly browned.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add BBQ sauce, honey, and soy sauce. Stir to coat the chicken.
- Pour in chicken broth and add dry rotini. Mix well to ensure pasta is submerged.
- Bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover and simmer for another 3–5 minutes until sauce thickens and pasta is al dente.
- Taste and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices. Serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the spice level with optional red pepper flakes or smoked paprika.
- This dish can be garnished with fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro for added flavor.
- You can substitute rotini pasta with any pasta of your choice.
