Description
Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs are delicious, cheesy bites made with flaky biscuit dough and gooey mozzarella cheese, all topped with a savory garlic butter glaze.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 mozzarella string cheese sticks, sliced into 8 pieces each
- 1 pack (8 biscuits) Pillsbury Grands buttermilk dough
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Pinch of fine sea salt for seasoning
- 4 tablespoons melted, unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced finely
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F so it’s ready to go when you are.
- Open the biscuit package, then carefully split each piece into two. Flatten them using your hands or a rolling pin until they’re about a quarter-inch thick, keeping the shape nice and round.
- In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, parsley, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. This will act as both flavor and a glaze.
- Place two bits of mozzarella in the middle of each flattened dough circle. Wrap the dough around the cheese completely, pinch the edges to seal, and set them seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- Generously coat each cheese-filled dough ball with the butter mixture using your pastry brush, then bake on the sheet for 8–10 minutes, or until they turn golden.
- Right after taking them out of the oven, brush any leftover garlic butter over the hot biscuits for extra yumminess. Serve warm so the cheese stays gooey.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding spices to the garlic butter.
- These biscuits are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
- Experiment with different types of cheese for variation.
