Description

Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs are delicious, cheesy bites made with flaky biscuit dough and gooey mozzarella cheese, all topped with a savory garlic butter glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 mozzarella string cheese sticks, sliced into 8 pieces each
  • 1 pack (8 biscuits) Pillsbury Grands buttermilk dough
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Pinch of fine sea salt for seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons melted, unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced finely

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F so it’s ready to go when you are.
  2. Open the biscuit package, then carefully split each piece into two. Flatten them using your hands or a rolling pin until they’re about a quarter-inch thick, keeping the shape nice and round.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, parsley, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. This will act as both flavor and a glaze.
  4. Place two bits of mozzarella in the middle of each flattened dough circle. Wrap the dough around the cheese completely, pinch the edges to seal, and set them seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  5. Generously coat each cheese-filled dough ball with the butter mixture using your pastry brush, then bake on the sheet for 8–10 minutes, or until they turn golden.
  6. Right after taking them out of the oven, brush any leftover garlic butter over the hot biscuits for extra yumminess. Serve warm so the cheese stays gooey.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding spices to the garlic butter.
  • These biscuits are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
  • Experiment with different types of cheese for variation.
