- ¾ cup butter
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ¾ cups brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour

- 1 cup M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter.
- Add cocoa powder and vanilla extract to the melted butter and whisk until smooth.
- Add brown sugar and eggs. Whisk or beat with an electric mixer until well combined.
- Add flour and salt to the bowl, and beat the mixture again until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle M&Ms over the top of the batter, pressing them gently into the surface.
- Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
- Let the brownies cool completely before cutting for cleaner slices.
