Description

Marry Me Salmon is a delicious and creamy salmon dish that combines the rich flavors of garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese, making it a perfect romantic meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skinless)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (drained and chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Fresh basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brush 1 tablespoon olive oil over each salmon fillet. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Place salmon fillets in the pan and cook for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until the salmon is done. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt 3 tablespoons butter over medium heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Stir in 3 tablespoons flour to form a paste.
  7. Slowly whisk in the chicken broth and let it simmer.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, whisking until smooth.
  9. Mix in sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and lemon zest. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Nestle the salmon fillets into the sauce.
  11. Let everything cook together on low heat for 10 minutes.
  12. Sprinkle with fresh basil and serve warm over pasta, rice, or vegetables.
