Description

A simple and flavorful dish combining marinated cheeses and olives, perfect for snacking or as an appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 170 grams sharp cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
  • 85 grams Havarti cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 60 millilitres black olives
  • 60 millilitres pimento-stuffed green olives
  • 15 millilitres olive oil
  • 15 millilitres white distilled vinegar
  • 2.5 millilitres dried Italian herbs

Instructions

  1. Place cheddar cheese cubes, Havarti cubes, sliced bell pepper, black olives, and pimento-stuffed green olives in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Drizzle olive oil and white distilled vinegar over the cheese and vegetables. Sprinkle dried Italian herbs evenly.
  3. Gently stir all ingredients together until evenly coated with the marinade.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours to allow flavors to blend.
  5. Remove from refrigerator and let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.
