Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Parmesan chicken recipe inspired by Longhorn Steakhouse.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, half the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in one dish.
  3. In another dish, beat eggs and milk.
  4. Put flour in a third dish.
  5. Dredge chicken in flour, then dip into egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Cook chicken in olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
  8. Mix remaining Parmesan with mozzarella and minced garlic, then top chicken with the mixture.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before cooking.
  • Serve with a side of pasta or a crisp salad for a complete meal.
