Description
Delicious homemade cheesy pizza pockets filled with mozzarella, pepperoni, and pizza sauce, baked to perfection.
Ingredients

- 1 package pizza dough
 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce
 - 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - 1 large egg
 
Instructions
- Set oven temperature to 400°F.
 - Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until even in thickness.
 - Use a round cookie cutter or glass to divide dough into even circles.
 - Place a spoonful of pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan, and pepperoni on one half of each dough circle.
 - Fold dough circles in half to enclose filling and press edges closed with a fork to seal.
 - Brush tops of each pocket with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
 - Arrange on baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
 - Allow pizza pockets to cool slightly before serving.
 
Notes
- Make sure the pizza dough is thawed if using frozen dough.
 - You can substitute pepperoni with vegetables for a vegetarian option.
