- 85 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease a 20 cm square baking tin and line with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Sift in the unsweetened cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until the batter just comes together.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips to distribute evenly throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared tin and spread it evenly to the edges.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the tin before removing.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut cooled brownies into heart shapes.
- Arrange heart-shaped brownies on a platter and serve.
