Delicious brownies layered with a creamy cheesecake filling that are perfect for Halloween!
Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup special dark cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Orange food coloring
- Green food coloring
- Purple food coloring
- Halloween sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and coat an 8×8 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Whisk together the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
- Add eggs, oil, and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
- Reserve 1/3 cup of the brownie batter, then spread the rest into the bottom of your prepared pan.
- Beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla with an electric mixer, until smooth.
- Divide the cheesecake mixture into 3 bowls. Color one bowl of batter orange, one bowl green, and one bowl purple.
- Scoop the different colors of cheesecake on top of the brownie batter in the pan.
- Using the brownie batter that you set aside, drop a teaspoon at a time on top of the cheesecake layer and swirl gently with a butter knife.
- Top with Halloween sprinkles and bake at 350°F for 35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Let cool completely on a wire cooling rack.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps in the cheesecake layer.
- Feel free to use other food coloring to create different spooky colors.
