Description

Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream or whole milk
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter or warm olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, then whisk in grated Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Cook, stirring, until sauce is smooth and cheese has melted.
  4. Arrange chicken pieces in the greased baking dish in a single layer. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce evenly over the chicken.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes, or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and sauce is bubbling.
