Delicious tacos filled with tender beef, infused with garlic butter and a sweet BBQ sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup pure honey
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (thick)
- 8 soft corn or flour tortillas
- diced avocado
- fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by finely chopping the garlic and measuring out spices.
- Sear the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tablespoon of butter until browned on both sides (4-5 minutes).
- Lower the heat and add minced garlic, honey, BBQ sauce, and remaining butter; stir to combine.
- Cover and simmer on low for about 3 hours until the meat is fork-tender.
- Shred the beef with two forks, return it to the skillet, and mix well with the sauce.
- Warm tortillas briefly in another pan, then fill them with shredded beef and desired toppings.
Notes
- Substitute with chicken or pork if desired.
- Can add cheese or sour cream as additional toppings.
- Adjust the amount of honey for sweetness preference.
