Garlic Butter Chicken Wings are irresistibly delicious and full of rich flavors from garlic and butter, making them a perfect appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the seasonings.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Spread the seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic butter sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and stir. Cook for about 2-3 minutes.
- Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
- If desired, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to the wings and toss again.
- Arrange the wings on a serving platter and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Leftover wings can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
