Description

A creamy and flavorful Garlic Alfredo Chicken Pizza topped with chicken, mozzarella cheese, and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 450 g pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 240 ml heavy cream
  • 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
  • 150 g cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
  • 170 g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 25 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 30 g sliced red onion (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 245°C. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
  2. Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add grated Parmesan, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 30 cm circle. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or floured pizza peel if using a stone.
  5. Spread 120–180 ml of Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 2.5 cm border.
  6. Top with cooked chicken, mozzarella cheese, additional Parmesan, and red onion if using.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust turns golden and the cheese is bubbling and lightly browned.
  8. Remove from the oven. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired, then slice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Alfredo sauce based on your preference.
  • Feel free to add other toppings like spinach or bell peppers.
  • Homemade pizza dough can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
