Description

A deliciously gooey and festive blondie made with M&Ms and sprinkles, perfect for celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups (400g) packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups (248g) all purpose flour
  • 2 cups red white, and blue M&Ms
  • ½ cup patriotic sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13” pan with foil and spray well with cooking spray.
  2. Mix butter and brown sugar with a stand or a hand mixer until crumbly.
  3. Mix in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Mix in salt, baking powder, then flour.
  5. Stir in M&Ms and sprinkles.
  6. Spread in prepared pan; spray your hands with cooking spray to smooth the dough into an even layer.
  7. Top with extra M&Ms if desired.
  8. Bake for about 22-25 minutes until they start to turn golden. Err on the side of under baked, as they will continue to cook while cooling.

Notes

  • These blondies are best slightly under baked for a chewy texture.
  • You can customize the color of M&Ms and sprinkles for different occasions.
