Scale
- 8 large eggs
- 60 ml heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 185 ml real bacon bits
- 180 g shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
- 120 ml Heinz chili sauce
- 6 English muffins
Instructions
- Set the oven to 200°C to preheat.
- Crack the eggs into a medium bowl, add heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Whisk thoroughly until uniform.
- Pour the egg mixture into a lightly greased non-stick sauté pan over medium heat. Stir gently as eggs cook until nearly set.
- Add half of the bacon bits (approximately 90 ml) to the eggs, mixing well. Remove from heat once combined.
- Slice English muffins in half and arrange cut side up on a baking sheet.
- Spread a thin layer of chili sauce over each muffin half, then evenly spoon the bacon and egg mixture on top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the eggs, then top with the remaining bacon bits.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add sliced jalapeños on top before baking.
- Feel free to substitute the bacon bits with a vegetarian alternative.
