Description

A delightful dessert that combines the rich flavors of pound cake and tiramisu, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 loaves marble pound cake, sliced
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 4 tablespoons Kahlua liqueur
  • 1/2 cup shaved chocolate
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the strong brewed coffee with Kahlua until combined.
  3. Arrange half of the sliced pound cake in a single layer in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Pour half of the coffee and Kahlua mixture evenly over the cake slices.
  4. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the soaked cake layer, then sprinkle half of the shaved chocolate on top.
  5. Repeat the layering process with the remaining cake slices, coffee mixture, cream mixture, and shaved chocolate. Finish by dusting the top with unsweetened cocoa powder.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
