- 2 loaves marble pound cake, sliced
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup strong brewed coffee
- 4 tablespoons Kahlua liqueur
- 1/2 cup shaved chocolate
- Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy, about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the strong brewed coffee with Kahlua until combined.
- Arrange half of the sliced pound cake in a single layer in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Pour half of the coffee and Kahlua mixture evenly over the cake slices.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the soaked cake layer, then sprinkle half of the shaved chocolate on top.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining cake slices, coffee mixture, cream mixture, and shaved chocolate. Finish by dusting the top with unsweetened cocoa powder.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
