Description

Ingredients

  • Nonstick spray or butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and grease a 9-inch pie dish generously.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth, then add eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition, followed by vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and any optional nuts or additional chips.
  6. Spoon the cookie dough into the prepared pie dish, spreading evenly, and smooth the top gently.
  7. Bake for 35–45 minutes until edges are golden brown and the center is slightly soft, covering with foil if necessary.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 15–20 minutes before slicing.
