A delicious deep-dish pie filled with ground beef, Italian sausage, pepperoni, and a blend of cheeses, perfect for any gathering.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup ice water
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 cup pepperoni, sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water, mixing until the dough comes together. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened. Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, basil, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to fit a 9-inch deep-dish pie pan. Press the dough into the pan and trim the edges.
- Layer half of the meat mixture into the crust. Top with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Add the remaining meat mixture and top with pepperoni slices.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheeses over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.
- Let the pie cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

- Ensure the butter is cold for a flaky crust.
- You can add more vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Allowing the pie to cool helps in slicing it neatly.
