  • 8 oz Mozzarella Balls – Use fresh mozzarella packed in water for best results
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes – Halve before adding to salad
  • 1 medium Avocado – Dice just before serving to maintain color and texture
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil – Enhances aroma and Mediterranean flavor
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil – Use high-quality extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar – Adjust quantity to taste
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic – Fresh is best for strong flavor
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper – Freshly ground provides best flavor

Instructions

  1. Begin by slicing your cucumbers into thin rounds and halving the cherry tomatoes for a pop of color. Dice the avocado carefully and set it aside to prevent browning.
  2. In a large serving bowl, layer the cucumber, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, diced avocado, and fresh basil.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well emulsified.
  4. Just before serving, drizzle the dressing all over the salad and gently toss it to coat each ingredient evenly.
  5. Allow the salad to rest at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
