Description

These Crispy Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Wraps are a quick and delicious meal, perfect for a busy weeknight or a satisfying lunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound thinly sliced steak ribeye, flank, or sirloin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices provolone cheese or your preferred cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced peppers and onions and sauté until tender, about 5–7 minutes. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet.
  2. Add the sliced steak to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until the steak is browned and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes. Mix the vegetables back in with the steak and remove from heat.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Place a slice of cheese in the center, then add a generous portion of the steak and vegetable mixture. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly into a burrito-style wrap. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  4. Heat a griddle or grill pan over medium heat. Add butter or a little olive oil. Place the wraps seam-side down and grill for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Cut the wraps in half for easy serving and enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauces or sides.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the fillings with other vegetables such as mushrooms or spinach.
  • These wraps can also be made in advance and stored in the fridge for a quick meal later.
  • Pair with a side salad or fries for a complete meal.
