Description
Cranberry Pepper Jelly Pinwheels are a delightful and creamy snack made with a blend of cream cheese, cranberry pepper jelly, and fresh vegetables, all rolled up in a tortilla for a convenient bite-sized treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup cranberry pepper jelly
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cranberry pepper jelly, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface, leaving about ½ inch around the edges.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and top with a few spinach leaves for color and freshness.
- Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly into a log. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Wrap each rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Once chilled, remove the wrap and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels. Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately or keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, consider adding diced jalapenos to the cream cheese mixture.
- These pinwheels can be made a day in advance for easier party preparation.
