Description

Cinnamon Roll Overnight Oats are a delicious and easy breakfast option that mimics the flavors of a classic cinnamon roll.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 50 g rolled oats
  • 120 ml milk (dairy or non-dairy such as almond, oat, or coconut milk)
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional Toppings: Cream cheese glaze, sliced banana, chopped nuts, granola, drizzle of almond butter, vanilla yogurt
  • 30 g cream cheese, softened (for glaze)
  • 15 ml milk (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a resealable jar or container, combine oats, milk, ground cinnamon, maple syrup or honey, chia seeds (if using), vanilla extract, and salt. Stir thoroughly to ensure an even mixture.
  2. Seal the container and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours or ideally overnight, allowing the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese, milk, and maple syrup until smooth and pourable.
  4. Stir the oats well before serving. Top with cream cheese glaze, sliced banana, nuts, granola, almond butter, or vanilla yogurt to taste.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup or honey.
  • Chia seeds add texture and nutrition, but can be omitted if desired.
  • This recipe is easily customizable with your favorite toppings.
