Description

A decadent dessert combining cinnamon rolls, apple pie filling, and a creamy layer, baked to perfection for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 4 cups apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 225 grams cream cheese, softened
  • 65 grams powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 240 milliliters whipped topping
  • Caramel sauce, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a 23×33 cm baking dish.
  2. Flatten half of the cinnamon rolls and press them into the base of the dish to form an even layer.
  3. Distribute half of the apple pie filling evenly over the cinnamon roll base. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and nutmeg.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
  5. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the apple layer in the baking dish.
  6. Press the remaining cinnamon rolls flat and layer them over the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Top with the remaining apple pie filling and finish with the remaining cream cheese filling spread evenly on top.
  8. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the surface is golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
  9. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Drizzle with reserved cinnamon roll icing and caramel sauce. Serve warm.
