- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 4 cups apple pie filling
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 225 grams cream cheese, softened
- 65 grams powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 240 milliliters whipped topping
- Caramel sauce, for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a 23×33 cm baking dish.
- Flatten half of the cinnamon rolls and press them into the base of the dish to form an even layer.
- Distribute half of the apple pie filling evenly over the cinnamon roll base. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and nutmeg.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the apple layer in the baking dish.
- Press the remaining cinnamon rolls flat and layer them over the cream cheese mixture.
- Top with the remaining apple pie filling and finish with the remaining cream cheese filling spread evenly on top.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the surface is golden and the filling is bubbling around the edges.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Drizzle with reserved cinnamon roll icing and caramel sauce. Serve warm.
