Description

A delightful recipe for rich and creamy chocolate truffles made with ricotta cheese and coated in chopped almonds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend ricotta cheese with melted dark chocolate until smooth and fully incorporated.
  2. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes until firm enough to shape.
  3. Using a spoon, scoop portions of the firm mixture and roll into balls approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) in diameter.
  4. Roll each truffle in chopped almonds, pressing gently to coat evenly.

Notes

  • Ensure the chocolate is completely melted for a smooth mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute the almonds with your choice of nuts or add cocoa powder for extra chocolate flavor.
