  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup cocoa powder

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (for assembly)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (for drizzling)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
  3. Add flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder; stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the vanilla extract and continue to beat until fully incorporated.
  7. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until no streaks remain.
  8. Stir in the crushed Oreo cookies until evenly distributed.
  9. Cut the cooled brownies into bite-sized squares.
  10. In a large trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer half of the brownie pieces at the bottom.
  11. Spoon half of the cheesecake layer over the brownies, followed by a layer of crushed Oreos.
  12. Repeat the layers with the remaining brownies, cheesecake mixture, and crushed Oreos.
  13. Drizzle chocolate syrup on top and finish with a dollop of whipped cream and some extra crushed Oreos.
  14. Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
