- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
 - 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows or 4 cups mini marshmallows
 - 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
 - Pinch of salt (optional)
 
Instructions
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
 - Mix in Cereal: Gradually add Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture, stirring until well coated. Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes.
 - Add Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips, trying to distribute them evenly without melting them entirely.
 - Shape and Cool: Using a buttered spatula or wet hands, press the mixture into a 13×9 inch pan coated with cooking spray. Let it cool and set for about 30 minutes.
 - Cut and Serve: Cut into squares with a sharp, buttered knife for serving.
 
Notes
- Ensure the pan is well greased to make it easier to remove the treats.
 - You can customize by adding nuts or dried fruit if desired.
