Description
Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread is a deliciously moist bread filled with warm spices and chocolate chips, perfect for fall or any time of year.
Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3 oz cooking oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 1/4 cup chocolate chips divided

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In a medium sized bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, add oil, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin puree. Mix well. Add 1 cup of chocolate chips.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well blended, scraping the bottom and sides of the bowl with a spatula.
- Oil spray the sides and bottom of an 8″ x 4″ x 3″ loaf pan. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and spread evenly. Top with 1/4 cup of chocolate chips.
- Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the middle of the loaf; if it comes out clean, it’s done.
Notes
- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container to keep moist.
- This bread can also be frozen for later enjoyment.
