- 1 lb chicken breast
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb potato gnocchi
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Season the chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat for about 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, sauté shallots and garlic in butter until soft. Add flour to make a roux, then whisk in chicken broth, milk, and cream until thickened.
- Stir in diced chicken and uncooked gnocchi. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
