Description
A delightful breakfast wrap filled with cherry pie filling and a creamy mixture, perfect for a sweet morning treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 cups cherry pie filling
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt or sour cream
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, optional
- 4 large flour tortillas (8-inch)
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
- 0.25 cup sliced almonds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon melted butter, for brushing (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), and honey (if using). Whisk until smooth and well incorporated.
- Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean, flat surface. Spread a thin, even layer of the cream cheese mixture down the center of each tortilla.
- Spoon approximately 6 tablespoons of cherry pie filling over the cream cheese mixture on each tortilla.
- Fold in the sides of each tortilla towards the center, then tightly roll each one from the bottom up to create a wrap.
- If desired, lightly brush the exterior of each wrap with melted butter.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until they are golden brown and heated through.
- Transfer the cooked wraps to individual plates. Dust with powdered sugar and sprinkle with sliced almonds, if desired. Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- You can substitute Greek yogurt with sour cream if preferred.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey or maple syrup based on your taste.
- These wraps can be served warm or at room temperature.
